Nutella Donuts

Every once in awhile, there’s a recipe that you think BOOM, I need to make this now. Nutella Donuts was one of those. I mean, is it even a question?

These photographed so pretty! The recipe was really easy, you simply mix the dry and wet ingredients and put into the pan. Then stir the nutella and heavy cream for the topping. I chose to top with sprinkles instead of the nuts suggested in the recipe. I also enjoyed how it made only 6 donuts. I wasn’t overflowing in donuts like last time!

My only criticism for these was the dough tasted kinda starchy. I really want to find a different recipe that is a little sweeter. Also, the glaze was a little thin for the topping. I’m wondering if I should’ve dunked them a little more.

Softbatch Cream Cheese Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

These Averie Cookies recipes on Pinterest are always dangerous. Her pins always look so scrumptuous. When I saw these Softbatch Cream Cheese Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe, I knew I had to try them ASAP.

IMG_6079I mean, look how good those look! The recipe was super easy and I loved how I could refrigerate it to bake at another time. I chose not to include the coffee and espresso powder since I didn’t have it on-hand.

IMG_6078These were amazingly soft and gooey out of the oven, though they didn’t hold up past that. I brought them to work the following day and found they dried out. I microwaved them for a few seconds and they were back to normal. That would be my only complaint. Overall, these were really good and tasted like brownies, so definitely recommended on my end!
